Why hello there!

My name is Melissa, some call me Missy, a few call me Mez. But let’s go with Melissa Beee on this platform.

Why Melissa Beee? Well, it’s a play on a few things. My last name’s initial is B and the name Melissa in Greek means: honey bee. Why the extra “e”? Honestly, because melissabee.com was already taken, so I tacked on the extra “e.” LOL. The Internet property struggle is real.

I’m a 20-something-year-old based in Southern California. Born and raised! I’m originally from the South Bay (in Los Angeles County) and graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Journalism with an emphasis in public relations and a minor in business management. Sounds fancier than it is, but I love it. I’ve always enjoyed writing growing up, but the start of this blog was my official move from personal blogging to public blogging. I don’t really have a specific type of subject matter for my blog, it really is just a culmination of moments in my life I find worth sharing. I hope you enjoy your visit!
